Yes — we perform all work that can be safely and effectively completed on-site. Minor stitching, small fabric repairs, simple cushion evaluation, and some localized upholstery work may be completed at the client’s location. However, certain services require our Craft Shop, especially full reupholstery, leather furniture repair, fabric panel replacement, extensive sewing, foam replacement, frame repair, spring repair, deep cleaning, deodorizing, and protective treatment. Shop service gives us access to professional sewing machines, cutting tables, upholstery tools, controlled workspace, and proper ventilation. On-site service is still possible for many projects, but shop service may provide safer conditions and better results for more complex furniture restoration.

In most cases, yes — especially if the furniture has a strong frame, good proportions, comfortable shape, or sentimental value. Older furniture was often built with heavier frames, better joinery, and stronger internal structure than many new mass-produced pieces. The frame represents a major part of the furniture’s value. If the frame is solid, replacing the fabric, rebuilding the cushions, and repairing internal support can give the piece a completely renewed appearance and extend its life for many years.
